Sokoly Folk Dance Ensemble

SOKOLY (“Falcons” in Polish) is a team of young performers who present traditional dances and songs of Poland.  Sokoly group was founded in 2015 under the umbrella of Lowiczanie Polish Folk Dance Ensemble.  The mission of the group is to introduce children and teens to Polish folk traditions and to encourage their desire to promote their Polish heritage.  Over the years, Sokoly have showcased the beauty and variety of Polish traditional costumes, dances, and songs, at the Polish and international festivals in the Bay Area and beyond.  The group is directed by volunteers: Gosia Wojciechowska – general management; Kasia Hudack – music; Basia Stepaniuk – costumes.  Join us in applauding these young ambassadors, as they preserve and promote Polish culture through the universal languages of dance and song.
