Dulce Tricolor Venezolano

Dulce Tricolor Venezolano is a Bay Area-based nonprofit cultural dance organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the traditions of Venezuela through dance, music, and community. Founded in 2019 by Venezuelan mothers in the South Bay, the group brings together children, teens, and adults to celebrate Venezuelan identity through folkloric dance, cultural education, and live performances. Blending traditional movement with vibrant storytelling and community spirit, Dulce Tricolor Venezolano performs throughout the Bay Area at multicultural festivals, schools, and community events, creating meaningful cultural connections across generations.

At the Mosaic Festival this year…

Dulce Tricolor Venezolano presents Calypso del Callao, a vibrant folkloric performance inspired by the traditional Carnaval celebrations of El Callao, Venezuela, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The performance combines live music, dance, and theatrical storytelling to showcase the energy, joy, and cultural richness of Venezuelan Calypso traditions. Audiences will experience iconic Carnaval characters including Las Madamas, Los Diablitos, and Las Fantasías through colorful costumes, dynamic choreography, and interactive rhythms.
